This year's Winter Music Conference (WMC)/ Ultra Music Festival/ Miami Music Week was one for the absolute books! We started things off on Tuesday at Bardot for CASSIAN and Plastic Plates. Then on Wednesday we got things really going with the HARD Moombahton Massive at Grand Central (our soon to be home away from home for the week). HOLY SHIT! People were climbing the walls, literally, and our boys TITTSWORTH and thee MIKE B's tag set was definitely one for the record books. Wednesday late night took us to Blackbird Ordinary for the Trouble & Bass rockabilly party with our very own Smalltown Pete playing all the old skool motown jams!
Thursday daytime was the OWSLA Pool Party at the Raleigh Hotel. How can you go wrong with your feet in the pool a mojito in hand and all your favourite OWSLA Artists including our very own NICK THAYER laying down the biggest and baddest basslines! OWSLA also live aired Goat & Fire radio on Serious XM! Oh and these amazing dudes from Tennessee rolled in and made my day! They play real music on real guitars about real people, fast and furious!
Fast forward to Thursday night and we are at the SMOG vs BASSHEAD party at Mekka where again NICK THAYER showed them how to start a party and escalate to hands in the air in less than 30 seconds.
Keeping up the pace we stroll over to EVE where our girl BLONDTRON wound up being the DJ for the legendary 69 Boyz! Everybody was doing the Tootsee Roll and demanding zombie T's!
Thursday late night took us back to Grand Central where for our boy U-Tern's duo OLIVER and Gesaffelstein made us move like no other. Hands in the air for these guys all the time. Then we shuffled upstairs for a petite apres with friend Contra and had to keep Sammy Bananas from from jumping off all the speakers!
L to R - Nacey, U-Tern, Steve Starks Friday we took a time out and actually hit the beach for the first time in our 3 years attending WMC. Mama needs a day off too ya know! Friday afternoon we stopped by the Fool's Gold rap party and cruised through the Mad Decent party at Villa where Annie Mac and Sinden were going toe to toe. Then our friends and fellow canucks Joker's Of The Scene played their own SLOWED style techno to many a happy feet. Friday evening was ladies night! Blondtron and I had the pleasure to hang with the lovely Miss Roxy Cottontail from NYC and Guns Garcia from Philly at the Mercadito restaurant for some of the best tacos and tequila we have ever had......ever (take that Texas!) What better way to digest then back at Grand Central for the WINDISH AGENCY showcase. Man those guys really know how to throw a party. Diplo wowed us and played our homie GRANDTHEFT's "Rack City" boot loud and proud (this was a tune of MIA btw - check it HERE). SKREAM and CASPA followed up with a magnificent set which then had us grooving over to the Body High Party for JUBILEE's true Miami Bass set. Rollin with the best crew ever we danced until the sun came up...again. Saturday afternoon was all about the Carlton for TORRO TORRO and their pool side Moombahgrooves for the Smile for Camera party. Then it was off to the CIRCLE TALENT AGENCY party at Eve where TT stole the show again!. And how could I leave Miami without stopping in at Mamushka's just one more time for the Boys Noize party to hear Annie Mac absolutely crush it. 4 am and that's all she wrote, i was off to the airport and asleep on a plane back to the snow. I have so many names to name and can't remember them all but you all know who you are - you are loved and we thank you for all you do! See you next year!

We ate tacos and bbq to our hearts content, silent disco'd in an enchanted forest and have the sorest feet on the planet to prove we had the best time ever!
